Opportunities for Impact
Nursing, Social Work, and Nutrition & Dietetics have a collaborative goal to grow enrollment throughout the college to meet the growing demand of the workforce. To accomplish this goal, the UND College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines has developed the following key fundraising priorities:
- Student support
- Scholarships, travel, and housing
- Faculty endowments
- Simulated Critical Access Hospital
Student Scholarships
In the 2021-22 academic year, $823,302 was awarded to 392 CNPD students, and $132,302 of that was raised by the UND Alumni Association & Foundation. By creating more scholarships, our future leaders have more opportunity to advance in their education and careers. Our fundraising goals are:
- Endowed Scholarships ($25,000+)
- Leadership Scholarships ($250,000+)
Faculty Excellence
Supporting our faculty is a necessity. One professor can touch the lives of many through the opportunities they create. Our 118 faculty members have been educating UND nurses for more than a century. Today they are conducting more than $7.5 million in research that can change the world. Our fundraising goals for them are:
- Endowed Fellowships ($500,000)
- Endowed Professorships ($1 million)
- Endowed Chairs ($2.5 million)
Programs & Facilities
Support our areas of greatest need, and make an immediate impact by supporting the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines Annual Excellence Fund. Our priority areas are:
- Simulation Manikin ($100,000+)
- Simulation Suite ($1 million)
