Notes from the Nest
Let your thanks fly!
Notes from the Nest 2026 brought scholarship recipients together at the Memorial Union to share their gratitude with the donors who make their educational journeys possible. Students wrote heartfelt thank-you notes, posed for photos to accompany their messages, and connected their stories with the generosity behind their scholarships. An online option made it possible for distance students to participate.
This year’s event was made possible by 124 volunteers and supporters, with students enjoying 300 pizzas, 550 donuts, and the chance to win a scholarship drawing. Congratulations to this year's winners Jack Austin and Alaina Wollbrink!
Thank you to our donors for investing in student success, to our students for sharing their appreciation, and to our volunteers for helping make the event a memorable experience.
