Hailey Huspek, ’18
Director of Development,
College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines
Why I Wear Green
I was a first-generation student and didn’t know anybody coming to UND. Through my involvement on campus with Greek life and other organizations, I made lifelong friends and connected with people who had similar interests. UND pushed me to be a better version of myself by encouraging me to take leadership roles I never would have considered before.
Hailey works to connect and reconnect alumni with the College Nursing & Professional Disciplines and UND. She loves helping people reach their philanthropic goals that help to make UND a better place for future generations.
When Hailey’s not watching funny dog videos, you might find her at the gym, baking, traveling or spending time with her fiancé, family and friends.
- BA, Anthropology, University of North Dakota
- BS, Interdisciplinary Health Studies, University of North Dakota
- MS, Bioarchaeology, University of York
Hailey appreciates and understands the value of a UND education in developing lifelong passions and skills. Her dissertation on a rare medical condition that occurs secondary to lung cancer received great results and was a learning experience she’ll never be able to replicate. A natural leader, Hailey served as the VP of intellectual development for her sorority and president of the UND Anthropology Club. She utilizes her love for UND, education, and leadership to connect alumni and friends with their passions.
