Open Positions
Stewardship & Finance Intern
Position Summary
The individual will be responsible for various functions mainly in the Stewardship & Donor Appreciation department and some in the Finance department. UNDAAF is seeking an individual with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and follow-through. Demonstration of excellent verbal and written skills are needed. The individual must be able to work independently and manage their time well.
Essential Functions
- Create content for impact stories, thank you cards, social media and additional stewardship pieces
- Prepare, assemble and distribute pieces that contribute to donor stewardship
- Research and organize data for impact reporting
- Assist with stewardship event planning and execution
- Input data into a Customer Relationship Management Center
- Monitor accounts payable emails and import into PaperSave program
- Create accounts payable invoices in accounting system, following verification of donor
intent and
fund balances - Other tasks as assigned
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Preferred majors: Finance, Communications, Business, and Nonprofit Administration

Gorecki Alumni Center – Event Setup Crew
Position Summary
The Event Setup Crew is responsible for all setup and takedown of event-related equipment including tables, chairs, stages, etc. The event crew also cleans event spaces before and after events. Hours are event dependent and will vary week to week and will include early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Essential Functions
- Help set up and take down event equipment, furniture, and technology for dinners, conferences, and weddings in multiple event spaces.
- Accurately interpret floor plans created by event manager for proper room setup
- Transport, move and lift furniture (table, chairs, stages, etc.)
- Clean event spaces to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, removal of garbage, etc.
- Other duties as assigned. (i.e. UND Alumni Association & Foundation Football Tailgate setup)
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
