Why I Wear Green
As a first-generation college student, attending UND and earning my degree had a profound impact on my life. The friendships I made and the education I received — rooted in North Dakota values — have strongly shaped who I am today. Any success I’ve achieved along the way is largely attributable to those experiences. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the UND community. The opportunity to give back in any way is deeply gratifying.
Overview
Corey describes his role at UNDAAF as that of a “philanthropic advisor,” where he helps alumni and the broader community discover meaningful ways to support UND students, faculty, and facilities, particularly within the School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He raises awareness of campus initiatives, gets alumni involved, and creates engagement opportunities tailored to each individual’s interests and level of involvement. His ultimate goal is to build strong, meaningful connections between these audiences and UND.
Away from his job, Corey may be working on his golf game, attending sports events and concerts, or coaching his son’s basketball team. A history buff and a trivia whiz, Corey likes to travel, explore new restaurants, dabble with investments, and experiment with new recipes.
