Why I Wear Green

This community and the University have embraced my brother and sister-in-law, who both graduated with master’s degrees in English and have lived here for over 15 years. I’m excited to meet the community and join my relatives in wearing green.

Overview

Thad is all about data, working to provide the UNDAAF with information to make data-informed decisions. In his job as Business Intelligence Developer, he works with stakeholders on report specifications and data visualization. He builds and maintains various reports and dashboards for UNDAAF departments and campus partners.

When he’s not at work, Thad likes to play basketball at the YMCA, hang out (and have snowball fights) with his nephews, and travel to visit friends and family.

Qualifcations 

• BA, History and English, Bethany Lutheran College
• MPA, University of Nebraska at Omaha

Knowledge

Thad has a strong background in reporting, research and statistical analysis, including producing nonprofit salary and benefits reports and completing projects on pay inequity in the nonprofit sector. Thad has worked with nonprofits to use data-driven decision-making as they define, collect, and analyze metrics for organizational success and outcome evaluation.
