Why I Wear Green

UND and the Grand Forks community have felt like home since my first visit as a prospective student. While an undergrad, I was a member of the Pride of the North Athletics Band Color Guard and the University Band/Wind Ensemble. Through these activities, I made lifelong friends and mentors. I am thrilled to be back on campus working for UNDAAF and look forward to creating more memories at UND.

Overview

Data accuracy is the name of Mara’s work game. Whether she’s inputting data for our event registration or updating the alumni database, Mara pays attention to detail to help ensure our events run smoothly and our records stay current.

When Mara’s not a work, she enjoys playing the piano and oboe, ice skating, camping and hiking, and reading and writing.

Qualifcations 

• BA, Information Systems, UND
  • Sports communication certificate

Knowledge

Mara is interested in projects that connect sports and business. A graduate of the UND Honors Program, Mara completed an independent research project on NCAA men’s hockey.
