Why I Wear Green

I love UND and the wonderful community that surrounds it. I wear GREEN because of all the value that I have been given – education, quality of life, and a spirit of belonging. It helped define a place for me. My role at the UND Alumni Association & Foundation is a way of giving back to a place filled with wonderful people in the business of creating memorable experiences and building the future of this great University.  

Overview

Linsey ensures that the UND Alumni Association & Foundation recruits and retains the best people for our team to carry out our mission and strategies. She supports those within the organization to be the best they can be and to add value to our amazing culture. 

Linsey finds joy in many ways: Spending time and adventuring with her two boys and their dog Olive, being outdoors, Pilates, reading, and working on house projects. Of all things, she loves mowing the lawn, calling it a good time for self-reflection.

• Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration, University of North Dakota
• Master of Arts, Public Administration, University of North Dakota
• Certificate, Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
• Society for Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)

Knowledge

Linsey has worked in talent management for over a decade, with the majority spent in the public sector. She enjoys helping others be the best they can be while getting them in the right positions to align with their strengths. She loves to learn what motivates others and works to connect those motivations with the organization’s overall vision and goals. She loves to see people reach their professional goals, problem solving and finding ways forward that benefit all involved.
