Why I Wear Green

UND has been part of my story for a long time. A second-generation UND alumna, I spent three years on the spirit squad, cheering for UND football, basketball, and volleyball. I also conducted research, co-founded Volunteers Together, and was involved in other campus organizations. UND gave me more than an education, it gave me lifelong friendships, my husband, and a community that feels like family. Coming back to campus in this role is a full-circle moment. I know firsthand how much this University can shape a life, and Iโm excited to help others experience that same connection. I wear green because UND will always be part of who I am, and Iโm grateful to help shape its future.
Overview
For Klaudia, relationships are at the heart of philanthropy. As Director of Development for the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD), she connects alumni, donors, and community partners with opportunities to make a meaningful difference at UND. By learning what matters most to each person, she helps turn their passions into support for the CNPD.
When sheโs not at work, Klaudia loves cheering on her favorite people, which include her husband, a UND physical therapy professor, and her son. She enjoys a fun family game night, gardening, sewing, and all things bridal. Check out her shop, Klaudia & Co., in Fargo.

Knowledge
Klaudia has held several roles in healthcare philanthropy, gaining experience in capital campaigns, event planning, corporate giving, and more. She especially values the relationships she builds and the ripple effect of generosity. In a previous role, she collaborated with a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team to support programs and initiatives benefiting patients and families. The experience, Klaudia said, โreinforced how powerful philanthropy can be when you take the time to understand the people behind the mission, listen to what they need, and bring the right people together to make something meaningful happen.โ
Community
Klaudia serves as board chair of Northlands Rescue Mission and as senior style and presentation consultant for Forevermorley Productions, supporting the pageant community. She also volunteers as a judge for local and regional science fairs.
