Career
Sheri has been a member of the North Dakota Public Service Commission since 2022. As Commissioner, Sheri oversees a wide-ranging portfolio that includes wind and solar reclamation, economic regulation of electricity, pipeline safety, damage prevention and enforcement, weights and measures consumer affairs, and cybersecurity.
Prior to serving on the PSC, Sheri was Human Resources Manager for the North Dakota State Tax Commission from 2016-22. She has more than 30 years of HR experience and a strong background in government administration. Her professional strengths include public speaking, organizational leadership, team building, mindfulness, and communication. Sheri earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from UND and a Master of Management from the University of Mary.

Sheri serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), is Vice President of the Mid-America Regulatory Conference (MARC) Board and sits on the Advisory Council of the Critical Consumer Issues Forum (CCIF). She also chairs the Advisory Council of the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute.
Before joining the PSC, Sheri chaired the Board of Directors of Capital Electric Cooperative. She also served as chair of the Board of Central Power Electric Cooperative, a wholesale power supply and transmission cooperative serving six member co-ops, including Capital Electric.
