Why I Serve on the Board of Directors

I've had a great love for UND ever since I was a little girl. My parents were UND grads and always stressed the importance of giving back to Devils Lake H.S., the University of ND and to my community. I am an Alpha Phi and Greek life taught me a lot about getting involved on campus and in the GF community while I was there. I'm thrilled and honored to be serving on the board. As an educator, I'm hoping to bring a unique perspective to the board.

How I Provide Opportunities

I'm involved in MANY community clubs/groups: Shakespeare Club, Book Club, Beta Sigma Phi, Elks Lodge, Wana Wota Food Disbursement board member and treasurer, Pioneer Daughters, District #15 Republicans, UND Alpha Phi House Corporation board member and secretary, Devils Lake Education Association, North Dakota Education Association, First United Methodist Church, former Lake Region State College board member, Devils Lake Public Schools Development Fund coordinator, UND Alumni Association and Foundation board member, former DLHS volleyball, girls' basketball, and football booster president.

In my free time, I ...

Our family enjoys attending UND football and hockey games together. We love to travel with family and friends, especially for UND Hall of Fame hockey events. We also love to spend time entertaining at our Wood Lake summer home.

My Favorite UND Memory

My four years at UND and being an Alpha Phi hold such wonderful memories for me. The lifelong friends that I made and the experiences I had are precious to me.
