Career

John is a native of Bismarck, N.D. John brings a wealth of invaluable experience, having successfully overseen more than 100 million square feet of development, design, construction, and property management projects for some of the nation’s leading commercial development firms.

Before founding Onward Investors, John served as president and CEO of Opus Northwest, L.L.C., headquartered in Minneapolis, with a regional presence extending westward to include offices in Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver, Seattle, and Portland. Under John’s leadership, Opus Northwest consistently delivered top-tier commercial projects while exceeding the company’s investment objectives.

John and his late wife Lisa have a daughter & a son. John divides his time between Edina, Minn., and Scottsdale, Ariz.
