Why I Serve on the Board of Directors
The level of education, extracurricular activities, and leadership opportunities I experienced during my time as a student provided me the tools and confidence I needed to be successful professionally and personally. I am humbled to have been approached to serve on the Board of Directors and I'm excited for the opportunity to give back to the institution that has given me so much and to pay it forward to the current and future graduates of UND.
How I Provide Opportunities
I serve on the executive board for the Northern Virginia Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, promoting and supporting the local musician community. Additionally, I serve as a member of the UND Aerospace Alumni Advisory Board, where I support communication between alumni and the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences and mentor students in the aviation program.
In my free time, I ...
enjoy traveling and seeing new places with my other half, Whitney, also a UND graduate, including all of the wonderful museums and activities in our nation's capital. If you find yourself in D.C., you will likely see us running or biking around the National Mall preparing for our next triathlon or marathon.
My Favorite UND Memory
Serving as a tour guide and camp counselor always provided great memories of meeting prospective students and connecting with them again after they started attending UND. It was very rewarding to see these individuals accomplishing their personal and educational goals.
