Marina Galstad, ’16

Senior Accountant

WHY I WEAR GREEN: Being a UND grad has made me grateful for all the opportunities I was given as a student, which led me to where I am today. Working at the Alumni Association & Foundation has really opened my eyes to how passionate people are about the UND experience and wanting to give that experience to students any way possible.

There are many ways that UND alumni and friends can give to UND through the UND Alumni Association & Foundation. Marina records stock gifts, pledges, and legacy gifts, while providing donors a seamless experience, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Through thorough research, she provides ad hoc reports to donors, the University, and UNDAAF staff.

After spending her days working with numbers, Marina loves to get lost in a good book. She enjoys the outdoors, golfing, biking, walking, working out, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephew.

  • BAcc, Accounting, University of North Dakota
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Member, North Dakota CPA Society

While Marina is new to the nonprofit industry, she has years of accounting experience related to manufacturing. Her favorite projects involve research, using her Excel skills to solve problems, and helping her team out whenever necessary.
