UND holds a special place in Laine’s heart. She is humbled by hearing alumni and friends’ stories and experiences and helping them connect with their past, become involved in the present, and improve the future for generations to come.

Laine enjoys working out, playing basketball, traveling, and spending time at the lakes in the summertime.

  • BA, Sociology, University of North Dakota

Laine knows North Dakota higher ed – before coming back back to UND, she served as North Dakota State University’s Multicultural Recruitment Coordinator in the Office of Admissions. She was thrilled with the opportunity to return to UND in a position that gives back to her alma mater. Her summer highlight? Attending UND Night at Target Field. “Seeing so many UND alumni enjoying each other in that setting is indescribable,” she says.

  • Volunteer, regional animal shelters
  • UND Big Event
