Hailey Huspek, '18

Director of Development, College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines

WHY I WEAR GREEN: UND has given me so much. I was a first-generation student and didn’t know anybody coming here. Through my involvement, I met lifelong friends and connected with people who had interests similar to mine. UND pushed me to be a better version of myself by encouraging me to take leadership roles I never would have considered before.

If there's one thing you should know about Hailey, it's her passion for serving others. Hailey admires sharing this passion with friends, faculty, and University of North Dakota alumni. She hopes to leave a lasting impact within the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines by connecting with alumni and friends to establish their purpose and continue to advance UND.

Hailey owes her travel, research and academic experiences and successes thus far to her time at UND. She strives to ensure that UND remains a place where current and prospective students can reach their highest potential. When Hailey’s not watching funny dog videos, you might find her working on her latest DIY project, baking, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.

  • BA, Anthropology, University of North Dakota
  • BS, Interdisciplinary Health Studies, University of North Dakota
  • MS, Bioarchaeology, University of York

Hailey appreciates and understands the value of a UND education in developing lifelong passions and skills. Her dissertation on a rare medical condition that occurs secondary to lung cancer received great results and was a learning experience she’ll never be able to replicate. A natural leader, Hailey served as the VP of intellectual development for her sorority and president of the UND Anthropology Club. She utilizes her love for UND, education, and leadership to connect alumni and friends with their passions.

  • Volunteer, Ronald McDonald House
