WHY I WEAR GREEN: I love the people and the energy of working on campus – the excitement of students returning to classes in the fall with anticipation of graduation in the spring.

Brooke is the reason that UND Alumni Association & Foundation events are known for being the best in the business. From big-picture logistics like venue selection and parking to the smallest details like floral arrangements and accommodations for dietary restrictions, Brooke leads a team of professionals who know what it takes to pull off the highest quality events for the benefit of UND.

Brooke’s a pro at delivering memorable experiences to alumni and friends, and she’s a pro at delivering memorable experiences to new couples through her business, BROOKE floral/events/styling. She loves hitting up spin classes at the Pedal and hanging at the lake with her family – including her favorites, her husband Tom and pup Finn.

• BA, Communication with a minor in visual art, University of North Dakota

Brooke is the mastermind behind alumni socials and pregame parties around the country and signature events held closer to home, such as elegant Honorary Degree dinners and the biannual Champions Ball – which she once pulled off in a football arena with over 800 guests. Her favorite annual event is the Sioux Awards, where she continues to be amazed by UND alumni who make such a difference in the world. “To be able to plan events that bring back nostalgic moments from their time on campus and award banquets that recognize individual levels of distinction is really an honor,” Brooke says. “It makes me grateful to work for my alma mater.”
