Why I Wear Green

As a first-generation college student, I didn’t know what to expect coming to college. I can’t express what this University and its alumni have done for me. I am so grateful for the many doors and opportunities that have opened because of my time here. I am honored to partner with our alumni to advance this great University. I don’t just wear green; I bleed it.

Overview

Blake works to help alumni and friends achieve their philanthropic goals, which in turn, helps UND and its students flourish.  He is excited to connect and grow relationships with individuals who love UND as much as he does. A current nursing student, Blake is involved with Greek life, which enables him to give a student perspective on University life. He loves hearing alumni stories of UND in the past and recognizes the similarities with today’s student life.

When Blake’s not at work, he cheers on the UND hockey team and eats out across Grand Forks. He also enjoys traveling whenever the opportunity arises.

Qualifications

• BA, Nursing, University of North Dakota, expected graduation 2024
